Yes! We have been a licensed and registered business since operation began in June 2022. For the Safety of our Clients and Employees we are also insured incase of an emergency or unexpected circumstance.
Tidy Homes uses eco-friendly cleaning products that are safe for your family and pets. Leaving your home smelling fresh and looking great without any of the harmful chemicals.
Unless you have a preference or requirement of specific cleaning products, our employees will arrive fully equipped to handle any cleaning job, including a vacuum and mop. All we require is that clients provide toilet brushes for cleanly purposes.
A Quoted Clean is determined based on the details of the individual clients home and their level of daily cleanliness. Every Client must provide the square footage of their home, number of bedrooms and bathrooms that require attention, if their is a basement included and whether there are young children or pets in the home as that will give us a better idea of what to look for and how much longer things may take to clean.
We do not work hourly but instead by the job, which is why we Quote a First Time Clean and once that is complete we determine an ongoing set price for Clients to know and expect only one price moving forward.
We love to visit our clients pets as we clean your home. However if your animals are scared or become aggressive when strangers enter, please kennel them or make other arrangements for everyone's safety.
Yes, if your home is well ventilated and clients respect our employees by not smoking during the cleaning appointment. Otherwise we will not put our employees in risky health conditions.
We are based around Edmonton, AB. This also includes St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Beaumont, Stony Plain and Spruce Grove.
Good question! Different people have different ideas of what clean is. It helps if you follow the general guidelines below.
1(Clean) - Your home has been fully detailed and cleaned by you or previous cleaner in the past 2-3 weeks.
2 (Average) - This tends to be your average home. You do a thorough clean every month or two and have done light cleaning (like vacuuming and dusting) on a weekly basis.
3 (Poor) - Your home, or the areas you want us to do, aren’t cleaned that often. It has been over a few weeks since a vacuum has been used, and some areas like under kitchen appliances, Dusting, Baseboards etc. have been neglected.

Anything beyond a "3" may be out of our hands, as Tidy Home's is a general house cleaning company and we do not clean human/animal waste, high volumes of mold/rot, pests/ bugs etc. We also do not provide help with hoarding situations. We can help with messes, but please keep our cleaners in mind. If you aren't willing to clean your space, will we want to?
You're welcome to request a specified date and time that works best and we will try our very best to accommodate! Our Availability to clean is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Office hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday-Sunday 10am-3pm.

We provide weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly and monthly ​options with available arrival times below.
Morning Arrival Times always start at 9am
Mid Day Arrival Times are between 11am-1pm
Afternoon Arrival Times are between 12pm-2pm
At Tidy Homes we try to be understanding with last minute emergencies, however the moment you know you’re unable to make the appointment please contact us immediately to avoid any unnecessary charges.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours before your scheduled clean, we require a $50.00 payment.
If you cancel with less than 12 hours before your scheduled clean, we require payment in FULL of what your clean would have cost.
As long as you've given more than 24 hours notice to making any changes, we can usually accommodate without our clients having to pay unnecessary charges. Unfortunately that isn't always the case so please keep in mind that our time is just as valuable as yours. 
It all depends on what works best for you and your comfort level.
You can be home to let the cleaner in at the time of arrival, come and go as you please.
You may disclose a hidden key on the premises, provide a key we keep until you end your services with us or you can provide a key code to your front door or garage entrance if that applies.
We do not require clients to be home during any part of the clean unless we need access into your home at our time of arrival. It is usually easier to have home owners leave during the appointment, so the cleaners are able to do their job more efficiently. If you do need to be home during the clean, we only ask that you allow the cleaner to do their job with as little interruptions as possible.
  • Weight - We have a 15 lb. weight limit for safety reasons. We are happy to move smaller furniture such as chairs, ottomans etc to vacuum and wash under.
  • Heights - We are limited to 2 foot ladder (usually required for move in/out cleans)
  • Outdoor Areas - We do not clean any part of the OUTSIDE of homes.
  • Pet Messes/Body Fluids - It goes without saying, but sometimes we still have to mention it. We DO NOT Clean litter boxes, pet messes, blood, feces, urine, and overflowed toilets.
  • Clutter - We will work around any highly-cluttered areas to the best of our ability. Same goes with areas used for storage, like underneath beds and on top of cabinets. *We do not assist in hoarding situations!*
  • Mold - We can clean small amounts of pink/orange mildew, or even darker mold. However, Large amounts of mold in shower areas, on walls, etc. can affect air quality and pose a safety issue. We aren't able to clean in rooms that are heavily affected by mold, or in homes with heavy mold infestations.
  • Bugs - We ask that any bug infestations or fumigation clean-ups are completed in their entirety before we enter a home.
  • Carpet Cleaning - We do not offer carpet cleaning services.
We also DO NOT clean - The inside of light fixtures, light fixtures out of reach, window screens, or cloth blinds
Unless Specifically Requested, the following Items are not included in regular ongoing cleans. - Inside of your dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, washing of dishes, or cleaning your hood fan.

Tidy Home's requires an active credit card on file for a variety of security reasons. However, you are welcome to pay in multiple forms.
We accept Cash, Credit, E-transfer and Cheques.
*We will ONLY charge the credit card on file if that is your chosen way of payment or if you cancel less than 2 FULL Business days of your scheduled appointment*
Things happen, we're human and sometimes miss something. It doesn't happen often but in the case that you aren't 100% satisfied, we will have the same employee return, same day to fix anything that does not align with our companies expectations.
